Soft Seat Hearth Pad

Great buy. I have a 1 year old that loves to climb on the brick surrounding my fireplace. This pad has worked great, prevented many bad accidents. Best price on the Net. Would purchase again. Thanks Kidsafe

I ordered this to protect my 9 month old son from banging into the sharp edges of our fireplace. Ours is cement with rough edges. The guard has worked excellent so far, it sticks on the top just fine. My only complaints are it doesn't look that great and the adhesive doesn't stick in the front (but my fireplace has an "unflat" surface). Definitely worth the price though. It's also much cheaper on this site than any other place I looked (amazon included).
